All artwork and content (pictures and text) on the Sanbar Art Studios website are original art and the sole property and copyright of Sanbar Art Studios and are legally protected by Canadian & international copyright laws.
Under no circumstance may you download, reproduce, publish or distribute elsewhere, in any medium, any of the images for commercial purposes, without proper and prior written permission from a company representative of Sanbar Art Studios or its legal advisers.
Unauthorized duplication or usage for commercial purposes is prohibited by the Copyright law and will be prosecuted.
Sanbar Art Studios retains all of the copyrights to all artwork on this site, regardless of whether or not the original image has been sold. Any requests for reproduction or commercial use must be received in writing, outlining the intent of use.
Requests for NFT are not accepted at this time.
Purchasing Original Art
It is very important to us that you are pleased with your new art. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do creating it.
Every care has been taken to display the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see online may show a slight difference due to variations between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return. Every piece created is a one of a kind original, therefore orders to replicate a painting, regardless of size, will not be exactly the same. Every effort will be made to create similar or a near match.
Make a Purchase
How do I make a purchase or place an order?
Please complete the “Contact Us” form and forward to us to place your order, with the Title of the painting included. This form is required to place order, arrange payment and confirm either pick-up from one of our studio locations, a mutual location, or delivery by Courier. (Current studios are located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada).
For payment, we accept cash or e-transfer only. Artwork will not be released until paid in full.
New requests for special artwork are considered commissioned work and require a non-refundable 50% deposit in advance of the work commencement. The purchaser must provide a reasonable description or image likeness of the desired art, in order for the work to be accepted by Sanbar Art Studios. Sanbar Art Studios reserves the right to reject the work or delay delivery date if deemed necessary. Commissioned pieces may take up to approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork. Shipping charges are not into in the price of the artwork and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping
Paintings are packaged and may be shipped via Canpar, Canada Post, Fedex, Purolator, DHL, Intelcom or UPS. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please identify shipping required on the “Contact Us” form. We will respond with a cost estimate once the most affordable and available courier has been determined. Upon your agreement of this fee, the item shall be paid in full and Sanbar Art Studios will ship the piece to you. We will then provide the purchaser with a tracking number once the piece(s) have been shipped.
FAQ’s
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. Currently we are only offering shipping within Canada. Artwork may be sent by Canada Post or courier depending on size, weight, and urgency. Most deliveries within Ontario, Canada arrive within 2-3 business days from time of shipping. If you have not received your artwork within 7 business days, please contact us. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact us first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an additional charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you would like to collect in person from one of our Southwestern Ontario locations, (Grey/Bruce Studio, Kawartha Lakes Studio, or a mutual location between us) please identify pickup request with your order. A mutually agreed location between Studio and purchaser will constitute an additional
charge.
Is Shipping Included?
Shipping service is provided, however the charge is at the purchasers expense and is outside the price of the artwork. Shipping charges are based on the urgency, weight/size of the work and your location.
What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
We want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so we offer a Buy-Back agreement. If a painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact us by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. You must ensure care is taken to protect the return of the artwork in order to receive full refund. If a piece is returned damaged, a charge of 25% will be held back on your return payment. Once the piece has been safely returned, we will refund your payment in full within 14 days.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
All artwork is carefully packaged and xwrapped. If you receive a piece that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days, including a photograph of the damage to the piece and showing the damage to the packaging. Minimal surface scratches on the artwork does not warrant a full refund. If the damage is significant, please contact us including photographs and we will be back to you with next
